Graduate Programme 2017 – Finance

Skanska Published: 05/09/2017

Description

Skanska, a leading construction company and developer, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society. Known for major projects like the Gherkin and Crossrail, we are creating, upgrading and maintaining the country’s buildings and infrastructure. Drawing on our Scandinavian heritage, we are green, innovative and progressive. We bring together people and technology, helping to make our industry safer and more collaborative.

Joining us as a Finance Graduate, you’ll follow a structured development programme across all areas of the finance function such as Operational Finance, Reporting, and Tax and Transactional Support services. The broad experiences that you gain will help equip you with the skills required to be a future business leader within Skanska. You’ll be guided by a mentor and coach throughout the entirety of the programme, and also have the opportunity to network with your peers and share best practice by attending a number of finance forums.

Educated to 2:1 degree level, having completed a BSc or MSc in a Finance or Business related subject, you’ll be confident in problem solving and have a drive for results. You’ll be an excellent team player, have strong communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships. We expect all graduates to be flexible with regards to location and be prepared to relocate during the programme if required.

You’ll have the opportunity to care for people and the environment, to be accountable for future generations, and to not only foster an inclusive culture where we are open and fair, showing trust and respect for one another, but also one where everyone can speak their mind. Are you ready to build for a better society?

Programme start date: 11th September 2017

The deadline for applications is Friday 9th June and an assessment centre will be held in July.

We would like you to perform at your best at every stage of our recruitment process. Please contact us if you require any adjustments that would support you throughout your application.

We thrive through embracing differences, whether they be social backgrounds, ethnicity, disability, gender, age, religion, sexuality and any other protected characteristic – we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and winning teams.
