If you are looking for some inspiration on what to do during your breaks, we have some great ideas for you to choose from:
Volunteer
The Easter break is a great time to give something back to others and the community as a whole. You can explore your interests, build your CV and make other people very happy. Check out Do-it and V Inspired to search for opportunities in your local area.
Explore and discover
There is nothing more valuable that exploring new places and discovering new, interesting things and ideas. Breaks are a fantastic time to travel and learn about new cultures. So much can be learned from others making travelling so worthwhile.
Have a clear out
A tidy environment equals a tidy mind. Have a spring clean during your break to revitalise your mind and your life. Unearth your old things and find unwanted belongings that you can sell on for cash. Utilise eBay and Music Magpie for this sort of thing.
Get active
Motion equals emotion: the more physically active and fit you are the healthier your brain will operate. Your body and mind love movement, it makes us feel alive on the inside and out. Gain success during your university life and studying by exercising or joining a sports team. Make the most of the outdoors too, go for long walks or bike rides to really appreciate nature.
Study
Better yourself and your understanding of a subject by reading and studying more. You can never learn too much, and the long break offers an opportunity to get ahead. Email some lecturers too and ask for some feedback. Study from the comfort of your own home or outdoors, wherever inspires you. Enjoy it.
Make lots of memories and enjoy yourself
The Easter break is also a chance to have some fun with friends, family and the ones we love. Catch up with people and socialise. Fill yourself up with joy and boost your morale. If you have some fun and let yourself go from time to time you can go back to university feeling sociably fresh and ready to learn again. You have to let all of the tension go…so do just that. Visit places of interest too, like a museum or a theatre. Make the most of your long break.
